Entity/Relationship (E/R) Diagram
A graphical description of a data model.

Data Dictionary
A database about your database which describes every file and within every file, each of the functional elements it will need (i.e. Fields, Reports, Entry Screens, etc.). This dictionary also serves as the backbone for help mechanisms in the final version.

Design Specification
Building off the details specified in the Data Dictionary, a design specification report is produced which specifies all deliverables as well the time, cost and resources required to produce each functional element in the system.

Documentation
A solution is not complete until the documentation has been delivered, usually in conjunction with training for data entry staff, IT staff, database administrator and in-house FileMaker development and support staff. We will work with you to determine the appropriate level of documentation for your solution and staff.

We typically begin building our documentation early in the process because we have found that this is the least expensive way to deliver high quality documentation.
